Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12 Pro: Price, Availability
The starting price for the Xiaomi 12S is CNY 3,999 (about Rs. 47,194), while the starting price for the Xiaomi 12S Pro is CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 55,408). Black, white, and green will be the only colors offered for the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro.

The 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen of the Xiaomi 12S has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The larger 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen on the Xiaomi 12S Pro has a refresh rate of 120Hz. Both 12S variants include a centrally located punch-hole cutout in the display that houses the front-facing camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro’s AMOLED panels also support 1 billion colors, 1500 nits of maximum brightness, and have Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Xiaomi 12S is equipped with a new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery and 67W fast wired charging is supported.
The Xiaomi 12S Pro, however, is offered in two versions, the first with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and the second with a Dimensity 9000+ one. Both versions will offer 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of integrated UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,600mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities is also included with the Xiaomi 12S Pro.

The 50MP Sony IMX707 1/1.28-inch sensor is the primary camera in the triple camera arrangement seen on the Xiaomi 12S. In addition to the primary sensor, there is a 5MP tele-macro camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. It includes a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
Similar to its predecessor, the larger Xiaomi 12S Pro has a triple 50MP camera configuration, however, the 1/1.28-inch Sony IMX707 50MP sensor is now the primary camera. Two 50MP ultrawide-angle and telephoto cameras make up the other two cameras. Leica, a German image manufacturer, has fine-tuned the camera configuration on the Xiaomi 12S Pro.
Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic, two photography modes that were co-developed with Leica, are available on the new Xiaomi 12S models.
