World of Warcraft Dragonflight Review: Draf on Flight expansion will be released at 11 p.m. GMT, 3 p.m. PST, and 12 a.m. CET tonight, so don’t mistake it for a bird, a plane, or even Superman. The newest expansion for World of Warcraft features a whole new continent, a brand spanking new class, additional dungeons, and, yep, dragons.
There were a lot of them. Soak in all you can. You can even ride them. Give them a tour of the city. You should bring them home. There comes a day when you wake up next to them and the magic is gone.
World of Warcraft Dragonflight ReviewTravel to the Dragon Islands, where you may see stunning waterfall cliffs, beautiful forests, serene plains, and ancient mountaintop temples. You can zip all over that on a dragon’s back, and there’s a whole tree of abilities devoted to making your rides quicker and longer. The new class/race can transform into a dragon, albeit a weak, terrestrial one.

The flying reminds me of Batman’s swooping around in the Arkham Games; you dive down and then pull up to convert your downward momentum into an upward thrust, though I’m not sure how your dragon-riding abilities factor in. It’s a lot more exciting than just wandering around.

There will also be a raid, however, access to it won’t be possible until December 12th. Details can be obtained on Activision Blizzard‘s website.
Ed and Liam’s new video series, Inventory Space, explores if and how time-consuming and expensive live-service games can be integrated into your life, and it has just been released. The first book focuses on their quest to reach the endgame of World of Warcraft, which they ultimately fail to complete.
The other day I read a Tweet that said if you want a dragon to look scary, draw it in a cat stance, and if you want it to look friendly, draw it in a dog pose. If you find any examples of this in the game, please let me know; these are the first dragons I’ve seen since then, and the trailer didn’t do a very good job of demonstrating it.
BTW one of my favourite things in fantasy art is that if you want to make a dragon look menacing or powerful, you draw it in poses used by cats.
If you want to make a dragon stupid but loveable, you draw it in poses used by dogs.
Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Does buying Dragonflight give Shadowlands?
A qualified yes and no… While Shadowlands is required to purchase Dragonflight, it is now included in the game’s membership, thus if you already have a subscription, you already own Shadowlands!
Is Dragonflight too early?
The publication of Dragonflight is not premature. It came sooner than I anticipated, but that only makes me more ecstatic:). It’s hilarious how many people are already complaining that it’s too early, although they haven’t even seen a minute of alpha/beta gaming. Until the alpha version is released, we’ll be unable to offer any feedback whatsoever.
Will Dragonflight have player housing?
Although this feature has been much requested by World of Warcraft gamers, Blizzard has decided not to implement it in the next Dragonflight expansion. Ion Hazzikostas, the game’s director, has discussed the reasoning for it in several interviews.
