World of Warcraft Issues Update 10.1 Patch Notes in Advance

With the release of the patch notes for Patch 10.1, “Embers of Neltharion,” World of Warcraft showed players what they can expect in a few days. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s next big content update will take players deep underground in the Dragon Isles, where different groups are trying to find and use the dark secrets that Neltharion, who would later become Deathwing, left behind.

When Embers of Neltharion goes live on May 2, after a planned maintenance time, level 70 characters will be able to explore a new area called the Zaralek Cavern. A new group called the Loamm Niffen will give players rewards if they help these sharp-nosed cave dwellers gain fame.

Cross-faction groups, which have been asked for for a long time, will also be added to World of Warcraft, with some restrictions. As with any big update to Blizzard’s long-running MMORPG, the 10.1 update will include a lot of class tuning and balance changes to keep the game interesting for all types of players.

Do you know that HoYoverse is making and putting out the upcoming urban fantasy action role-playing game Zenless Zone Zero? It will probably work on Microsoft Windows and Apple’s iOS. Check out our coverage to determine when Zenless Zone Zero will be released:

In Embers of Neltharion, one big change will be that both players and enemies will have 25% more health. This will make healing less of a factor in the game’s balance. Because of this, the Leech number and any self-healing skills players can use will also be changed.

Shadow Priests and Devastation Evokers will also get some big changes to their ability trees. Even though neither of these will be changed as much as the Retribution Paladin in Patch 10.0.7, both of these caster DPS types should play better after the patch goes live. Major updates to World of Warcraft are known for letting old zones alone, but a new feature called Fyrakk Assaults wants to change that. Fyrakk the Blazing, a Primal Incarnate, will take over a place on the Dragon Isles every so often and send out different monsters for players to fight.

Fyrakk Assaults will be similar to Primal Storms in that they will happen on a daily schedule. Players who take part will get Black Dragonflight-themed armor and a new currency that can be used to upgrade gear in a simpler way than before. But players of World of Warcraft who want to try out a new raid tier will have to wait a little longer.

The second season of Dragonflight starts on May 9, and players can start taking on Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible at that time. Overall, the Embers of Neltharion update brings a lot of new material to World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft is now available on PC.
