In the past, games in the Soulslike genre may have been overlooked, but now, as evidenced by the success of Elden Ring, this is no longer the case. It should come as no surprise that Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, another Soulslike action RPG, has been doing well from day one of its releases.
According to SteamDB, on the day of release, there were over 76,000 players online at once playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on Steam (75,906).
This is significantly more than the peak concurrent user count for either of Team Ninja’s previous two Soulslike games, Nioh (currently sitting at the height of over 10,000 players) or Nioh 2 (currently sitting at the height of over 41,000 players) (though of course, neither of those two was a simultaneous release, with both having been available on PlayStation for a while before coming to PC).

To put it mildly, the amount of interest Wo Long receives on Steam is incredible, especially considering the game can also be obtained through PC Game Pass. However, the game’s performance on consoles has yet to be determined. It can be played on the PlayStation 5, Xbox One X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
