Whoopi Goldberg “Unhappy” that Mac Users Can’t Play Diablo 4

Whoopi Goldberg, a co-host on “The View” as well as a veteran performer, was unhappy to learn that she cannot play Diablo 4 on her Apple Mac.

The actor explained in a video posted to her personal Instagram account that she purchased Diablo 4 before discovering that it is incompatible with Macs. However, instead of leaving it as is, she is requesting that Blizzard take action.

Goldberg said –

“This is what I’m asking you, Blizzard Entertainment.”

“This is Whoopi. You know how much I love Diablo. I would like y’all to let those of us who use our Apples to play. Allow us to play on the Apple. Take Diablo 4 and let us do it and have a great time.”

She added with a laugh –

“Give me my Diablo 4, because I paid for it, I was all excited for it, I went to play on it, and I’m telling you, this really pissed me off.”

Do you know that Diablo IV by Activision Blizzard is a big hit? Pre-launch sales of the game surpassed all previous Blizzard Entertainment releases. In total, users have spent 93 million hours playing the game. The design and narrative were praised by critics prior to this week’s official release:

It is true that Diablo 4 is not playable on Apple devices, but there is a workaround: PC Gamer reports that Apple’s new game compatibility toolkit can be used to run the sequel.

Alternatively, Goldberg could simply stop playing Diablo 4 until she acquires a compatible PC or console and switch to Diablo Immortal, the mobile-friendly ARPG released for iOS and Android in 2022. Even if it won’t get Goldberg the money back that she spent on Diablo 4, at least she’ll be able to play a new(ish) Diablo game on her Apple.
