During a recent presentation for Call of Duty: Next, Warzone Mobile was unveiled. It promises a streamlined take on the Call of Duty formula by letting players instantly transport to an old-school version of Verdansk. With an approximate release date in mind, we can begin compiling the game’s lore.
What we have seen so far of Activision’s Warzone Mobile is encouraging, but we still need to see a lot more before making a final decision. Specifically, how the game will connect to the previous games in the series, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. You can switch between these three games knowing that you are not wasting your time because of the shared progression system.
We’ve compiled all the information you’ll need to stay abreast of the latest developments in Warzone Mobile and deliver it right at your fingertips in one handy reference. We’ll go over the upcoming release date for Warzone Mobile, examine the game’s global layout, and compile breaking news as it occurs.
Warzone Mobile Release Date
The release of Warzone Mobile is scheduled for 2023. Both iOS and Android versions are in the works. We don’t have information beyond that time frame at this time, but we’ll make sure to revise this area as we learn more.
What do we know about the map?
So far, everything we’ve done with Warzone Mobile has been focused on the game’s maps and levels. Players will be pleased to know that they will be teleported to the original Verdansk map. That’s right, you heard correctly. That leaves open the options of a dam, TV station, lumber, farmland, stadium, downtown, train station, and prison. Like returning to familiar surroundings.

Each map will include 120 players engaging in classic Warzone combat. One-on-one duels for redeployment are the norm in The Gulag, which takes inspiration from the early Warzone. There are other cities besides Verdansk that are available. It’s expected that Al Mazrah, the upcoming Warzone 2.0 map, will be released at some time in the near future.
