Warhammer 40000 Darktide: Today sees, the release of the first major patch for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a futuristic cooperative action game. The new Comms Plex map has just been “dropped,” allowing you and three of your most ruthless friends to take it on. Both Zealots and Ogryns are getting new power mauls.
With today’s update comes the 1.0.20 patch, which includes numerous changes and fixes designed to improve the game’s stability. Darktide was released at the tail end of November, and this patch adds a sparse handful of new features.
You and your not-so-merry band have been tasked with using the Comms-Plex 154/2f map, one of the most recent additions, to gain entry to the Comms Plex and eventually reach the roof of the HL-19-24 Archivum. Once you get there, you’ll need to contact your Imperium allies via message.
The Indignatus Mk I’ve Crusher is a two-handed power maul used by zealots, while the Achlys Mk I is carried in one of the massive mitts of an Ogryn. Darktide‘s update allows for 2- to 4-player private matches. Select that option from the mission board to begin a mission in secret. In addition, the Shrine of the Omnissiah now offers a new crafting option called “Refine.”
If you choose to refine a perk, you can lower its resource costs without sacrificing other perks, but doing so will prevent you from refining any others. The 1.0.20 update fixes a wide variety of problems, including those relating to weapons, animations, and character creation.

It also includes 2,400 of the in-game Aquilas currency, allowing you to purchase cosmetic bundles without spending more money than you’d like. The latest patch notes and information on the Darktide community update can be found on this page.
Because Fatshark’s latest release, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, is yet another cooperative effort, we decided to give it the old four-reviewer shakedown. The question is posed, “What if Left 4 Dead was set in the weird future of humanity, where we are trapped in eternal war with aliens and demons, and barely holding on inside a fascist regime that worships a man who was quite adamant that he was not a god?”

After some thought, Alice remarked. It sounds like you and your pals would blast sneaking around Gothic factories and bursting heretics. Priced at $33/$40/€50, Darktide can be purchased from Steam and the Microsoft Store. Additionally, PC Game Pass subscribers can access the download directly.
