Vivo’s newest Y-series smartphone, the Y22s, has been released in Vietnam. The new 4G phone has the Snapdragon 680 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a notch display in the shape of a waterdrop.
The Built-in RAM of the Vivo Y22s may be upgraded to a maximum of 16GB by freeing up space in the phone’s internal memory. The Vivo Y22s sports a 5,000 mAh battery and a dual 50-megapixel camera setup on the back, plus it supports 18W rapid charging.
Vivo Y22s Price, Availability
The only configuration of the Vivo Y22s with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs VND 5,990,000 (about Rs. 20,500). It may be found on Shopee, Lazada, and Vivo’s own online store in Vietnam. Starlight Blue and Yellow Green (translated) are two of the color selections.
When and where this new phone will be sold around the world has not yet been revealed. You may remember that last week, the smartphone was seen listed on the company’s international site, but without any pricing information.
Vivo Y22s Specifications
The 6.55-inch, full-HD (720 x 1,612) LCD screen on the Android 12-based Vivo Y22s with a 90Hz refresh rate, 89.67 percent screen-to-body ratio and 530 nits of peak brightness is a highlight of the device.
A waterdrop-shaped notch has been carved out of the screen for the front-facing camera. With a Snapdragon 680 system-on-chip (SoC) and 8GB of RAM, the latest Vivo Y-series phone is a powerful performer. The additional onboard memory can be added to bring the total up to 16GB.
The Vivo Y22s sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens, both of which can be found in the device’s dual-camera setup on the back. There is also a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor and an f/2.4 lens in the camera system. There includes a front-facing 8-megapixel camera for taking photos and video chatting.
In addition, the Vivo Y22s has 128GB of built-in storage space, which can be increased with a microSD card (up to 1TB). The Vivo Y22s features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, Glonass, NFC, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C connector among its connectivity choices.
Electronic Compass, Gravity Sensor, Light Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, and Proximity Sensor are only some of the sensors on board. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the side and a face unlock function.
Fast charging @ 18W is supported by the Vivo Y22s’s 5,000mAh battery. The battery life is advertised to be up to 9.4 hours of gaming or 21.5 hours of online HD video streaming. It’s also said to have a standby time of up to two days on a single charge. The handset is 192 grams and has dimensions of 164.30 x 76.10 x 8.38 mm.
