Police responded to the intersection of Highway 7 West and Jane Street just after midnight in Vaughan. Upon responding to the accident scene, police found the motorcyclist seriously injured. He was rushed to a hospital but the motorcyclist could not survive the incident and handed off his life shortly after. Police Identified Man Died In Vaughan Motorcycle Accident
The deceased of the Vaughan motorcycle accident was identified as Saverio Pandetta. He was 55 years of age when he lost his life tragically in a motorcycle crash that happened shortly after midnight on Monday morning at the intersection of Highway 7 and Jane Street. Saverio Panetta was a native of Georgetown, Ontario. People close to him described him as a respected person and a bike lover. He left behind his beloved family, friends, and loved ones.
Man Charged In Vaughan Motorcycle Accident
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the fatal accident that cost the life of a Vaughan resident. Reportedly, the arrested man was driving another vehicle involved in the collision. He was charged with impaired driving. Yes, the 21-year-old boy was under the influence at the time when he hit his vehicle on Saverio Panetta’s motorcycle. The impaired driver was driving a white Honda Civic. However, he stayed at the scene until the police arrived. He also sustained minor injuries in the crash. Police are seeking help from the public, if anyone has information related to this crash, contact investigators.
