So the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhammi has said that the team is working to swiftly evacuate all the 41 workers with the top priority on looking at their safety. He has given this statement on 20th November 2023, Monday. Today is the 10th day that the workers are trapped under the tunnel collapse. So while the mission of saving the workers is going on the team has made a way and has put a 6-inch pipe from where they have first sent a camera to the workers. And it has given a big relief to the families of all the workers that their family member is safe.
All the trapped workers have come in front of the camera and have shown themselves. After this, the team sent food to all the workers. Families have sent hot Khichdi in a total of 21 bottles. The 41 workers got trapped under the tunnel on 12th November 2023 since they are trapped under the tunnel collapsed. It has been reported that the tunnel was under construction extending from Silkyara to Barkot and suddenly on 12th November the tunnel collapsed and the workers were trapped under it. Because of this shocking tragic incident, 41 workers have been separated from their families and trapped under the tunnel.
