Recently, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service received an upgrade that made available the Cloud versions of both Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3. While EA Play now includes these two Dead Space games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have access to the whole EA Play catalog. Signing up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate grants you access to the EA Play library of games.
In addition to all the titles available in the standard Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass tiers, Xbox Live Gold members also get access to the EA Play library. Recently, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gave away the terrifying classic Evil Dead 2 for free, making the subscription service an excellent deal for horror movie buffs.
Those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership can now access the online multiplayer for Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 through the Cloud. The Dead Space titles’ downloadable editions have been accessible through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play for some time, but now players have even more access to them. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members may want to check out Dead Space 2, considered the series’ best entry.

Dead Space 2 continues the groundbreaking sci-fi survival horror gameplay of its predecessor. Due to its high demand among players of the Dead Space series, EA Motive has received several requests for a remake of Dead Space 2 in the same vein as the remake of the first game in the series, released in January.

Yet, Dead Space 3 did not fare as well as its predecessors in the franchise. In Dead Space 3, the franchise shifted its emphasis from horror to action, including microtransactions, which caused some controversy. Several players have liked playing Dead Space 3 in co-op, and including the Cloud version in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will allow more people to experience this.
If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber and are not interested in playing Dead Space 2 or Dead Space 3 on the Cloud, you’ll soon have something else to look forward to. On March 14, the console version of Valheim will become available on Game Pass, followed by Civilization 6 on March 16 and Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition on March 21.
