The Elder Scrolls VI is in actual production at this time. We regret that we cannot provide you with more specifics about this game at this time. You see, Pete Hines of Bethesda has stated that this is not a game that will be released this year or even next year. It’s actually a working title for a game that’s still in the future.
But that’s not the most vital fact about the story. The fact that Bethesda is currently developing a new Elder Scrolls game is all that matters. Despite rumors to the contrary, the next Elder Scrolls game is not titled Skyrim, a Skyrim sequel, or a Skyrim spin-off. As of right now, there’s no reason to suspect that this isn’t a proper Elder Scrolls adventure, complete with epic quests and reminiscent of the series’ illustrious past.
Additional information about the game is provided below:
The Elder Scrolls 6 Trailer
At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Bethesda released the game’s debut teaser:
The trailer gave us a small taste of the game’s environment, so you could use that to speculate on the game’s setting if you really wanted to. Unfortunately, we don’t think any of that footage is close to being finished. But it does appear that we’re departing the frozen landscape of Skyrim for a more varied environment, not unlike that of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
So I decided to spend a lot of time and revisit the supposed tease for The Elder Scrolls 6 in the Starfield 2021 trailer. The more you look into it, the stranger it gets. I'll be breaking it all down in today's video. Did Bethesda REALLY tease High Rock and Hammerfell? pic.twitter.com/W7nU8whz4E

The Elder Scrolls 6 Music
Morrowind, Skyrim, and Oblivion composer Jeremy Soule have said that he hasn’t been contacted about scoring The Elder Scrolls VI. Soule has updated his Facebook status to say he is “not involved with TES VI,” which is the source of this information.
In a later statement, Soule clarified that his “non-involvement at this stage isn’t necessarily an indicator of anything foreboding,” but his words do seem to suggest that Bethesda may take a different approach when scoring the next Elder Scrolls game.
