The ‘Diablo IV’ Open Beta Will Start on March 24

Diablo IV, Blizzard’s new action role-playing game, will be released on June 6, but the developer has announced at IGN Fan Fest that players will soon be able to try it out. Following its precedent set with Diablo II: Resurrected, Blizzard will hold an early access weekend before releasing the game to the public.

Only those who pre-order Diablo IV can participate in the early access weekend, which will take place between March 17 and 19. On March 24, a week later, anyone can join the open beta.

All platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, will have access to the previews. The amount of material available to you in both cases is equivalent. You will be able to experience the opening sequence and the first act of the game.

As Engadget noted late last year, that’s the same cutscene. During a planned livestream for February 28, Blizzard has promised to reveal additional details about the Diablo IV open beta.
