A tourist bus fell into the gorge which is near the Coonor area of the Nilgiris district on 30th September 2023, Saturday. The tourist bus was carrying a total of 60 passengers and the bus was going to Mettupalayam from Ooty. And this time this accident occurred and in this accident, 9 people died and 30 people got injured. The 30 injured individuals are receiving treatment in the Coonor government hospital.
