Super Nintendo World: It was announced in a trailer released on Wednesday that Super Nintendo World would debut at Universal Studios Hollywood in California on February 17, 2023. After opening in Japan in 2021, this will be the first time the Mario-themed theme park has been brought to the United States.
The Bowser’s Challenge ride is based on Mario Kart and allows guests to race against villains while controlling Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Riders will don augmented reality goggles that transport them to recognizable Mushroom Kingdom tracks with props and challenges.

To keep track of your progress and gain access to special features, you can purchase Power Up bands that function similarly to Disney Parks’ MagicBands. Not only do they cost $32 in Japan, but the price in the US has not been disclosed.

At the 1-UP Factory store, fans can pick up t-shirts, hoodies, and plush toys based on their favorite characters. With construction delays, the opening of Super Nintendo World 3 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, was initially scheduled for 2025.

The park in California is expected to open a few weeks before the April 7 release of the Super Mario Bros.
