The list of firms that will be present at this year’s Summer Game Fest has been made public. Fans of video games may either tune in online or travel to Los Angeles in June for Summer Game Fest to check out the live exhibition in person.
The Electronic Software Association’s annual E3 conference has been the gaming industry’s premier event for the past two decades. However, due to logistical difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic and waning interest, E3 has been postponed for the past two years.
Geoff Keighley, a former member of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), has stepped into the void left by the ESA as the primary source of industry updates and reveals, holding events that attract some of the largest names in the gaming industry. This June, for example, Summer Game Fest will host its fourth exhibition of video games.
This year’s Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles will be held at the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. Tickets for those who want to attend in person are available now, and those who would rather watch online can do so for free. Thanks to a recent Twitter announcement, fans can now rest easy knowing who they can expect to see at this year’s Summer Game Fest.

Recent E3 conventions stopped focusing on prominent figures in the business, but Keighley seems to be changing that. Summer Game Fest has been gaining popularity since it debuted in 2020, with its 2022 presentation being the most well-attended yet.
The fact that prominent figures in the industry will be attending shows how the event has grown since Keighley first tried to make it a live showcase in the summer.
