Student Received Offers Above Rupee 1 Crore At IIT Guwahati
According to the reports, the top students of the Indian Institutes of Technology Guwahati received PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) which will convert into job offers for those who accept them. The PPOs mean that there will be a few students to place in a year when companies decide to cut on fresh recruitment and skip placements. However, the acceptance rates of the pre-placement offers have surged as students are being urged to accept PPOs amid the slowdown in hiring in the tech industry.
