Star Wars Outlaws is a forthcoming action-adventure video game that is being developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license from Lucasfilm Games. The game will take place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi in the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars Outlaws is a third-person action-adventure game for a solitary player set in the Star Wars universe. The game will feature covert and open combat, vehicle combat, space combat, and branching dialogue in an open-world setting.
Players control the outlaw scoundrel Kay Vess (portrayed by Humberly González) and her accomplice Nix (portrayed by Dee Bradley Baker) as they “attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen.”
Star Wars Outlaws Release Date
Ubisoft announced on 13 January 2021 that Massive Entertainment was developing a Star Wars game licensed by Lucasfilm Games. The game will emphasize its open world and narrative. Massive Entertainment began recruiting additional team members in part due to the concurrent development of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
In June 2023, a cinematic trailer was revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase.
If you didn’t already know, the upcoming sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 will be directed by the same person who helmed the original game. Despite CD Projekt announcing a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel during an investor conference last October, very few details have been revealed:
At the Ubisoft Forward presentation, ten minutes of gameplay footage were revealed. Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S in 2024. We do not have any additional information at this time, although the gameplay we have observed has appeared extremely refined.
The game employs the Snowdrop engine. The game is being made by game director Mathias Karlson and artistic director Julian Gerighty. Nikki Foy is the primary author and Navid Khavari is the director of the narrative.
