Is Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass Release Date Coming Out?

A paid expansion for Splatoon 3 was announced during the Nintendo Direct on February 8, 2023. The Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass DLC, which includes Inkopolis and Side Order, will be released in two waves. The series, which is accustomed to post-launch content, is typical.

Nintendo gave us a few tidbits of information on the Expansion Pass during the most recent Direct, even if we still don’t fully understand it. Here is all we know about the impending Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, although the firm still has much to reveal.

When Will The Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass Be Available?

The Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass is released in two waves, the first of which, Inkopolis, will go live in spring 2023. This might be anytime between the end of March and the beginning of June. No word on when Side Order will be available just yet, but maybe more details will emerge shortly.

In Splatoon 3, What Do The Expansion Pass Features Include?

Even though Nintendo gave us a good glimpse of Inkopolis, there are still many things regarding the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass that we don’t yet know. This DLC’s inspiration comes from the first Splatoon game, and it even shares elements of its businesses, characters, and hub environment.

You can purchase weapons, equipment, and extra Salmon Run and Table Turf Battle content from these businesses. The Squid Sisters, Callie, and Marie will also perform in the central hub area.

Nintendo will undoubtedly reveal additional details about Inkopolis before its spring debut. Nintendo made very little of Side Order. It has a different appearance from the main game, with washed-out artwork that is almost eerie.

Though it doesn’t yet have a release date, this wave is much more enigmatic and appears to be a significant departure for the series.
