Special train Amrit Kalash Yatra will run from Vijayawada to New Delhi. According to the report, Amrit Kalash Yatra works as a tribute to national heroes who dedicated their lives to the country. The ” Meri Maati Mera Desh’ (MD) campaign has been a tribute to the Indian Army soldiers who offered their lives for their nation. As per the Union Culture Secretary Govind Mohan’s statement, more than 20,000 participants from across the country involved in the “Meri Maati Mere Desh” campaign shall be moved to Delhi in the facilitation of this train service with soil from home villages under the second phase of the government’s campaign.
