Smite is a free-to-play, third-person, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game released by Hi-Rez Studios in 2014 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Amazon Luna.
In Smite, players take control of a god, goddess, or other mythological figure and fight as a team, using their powers and strategies against other gods controlled by other players and enemies not controlled by the players.
The game has multiple player-versus-player (PVP) modes, many playable characters, and a popular esports scene with many tournaments, including the annual $1 million Smite World Championship.
Smite was first made available to the public on May 31, 2012, with a closed beta. On January 24, 2013, the closed beta became an open beta. On March 25, 2014, the game came out for real. Around that time, Smite had 3 million players, and by June of that year, it had 4 million.
Do you know that several players who tried the open beta liked Diablo 4 Gameplay? When Diablo 4 comes out in June, we can’t wait to see what kind of terrible door opens:
More than 10 million people have played Smite in 2015. In June 2016, Hi-Rez Studios said that 20 million people had played the game. In 2019, there were more than 30 million players, and the game made $300 million.
In April 2020, Hi-Rez said that more than 40 million people played the game. Keep reading to learn more about the game’s official new God gameplay and our coverage of Smite’s gameplay.
Smite Official New God Ix Chel Gameplay
Smite has a lot of different game modes, but Conquest is the main one. Players can choose from Training (against AI), Custom, Co-Op (with clan/friends), Normal, and Ranked modes of play. They can then choose from a number of basic game modes. There are also often special event games with rules like “unlimited gold.”
In each game, players choose a god or other character to play as. At the moment, players can choose from a wide range of characters from different pantheons, such as Babylonian, Celtic, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, Hindu, Japanese, Norse, Polynesian, Slavic, and Yoruba, among others.
In this video game, the characters of King Arthur’s tales (called the Arthurian pantheon) and the Cthulhu Mythos (called the pantheon of the Great Old Ones) are also called pantheons.
Watch the gameplay video to see how Ix Chel, the new god in Smite, works. The Light Weaver update for Smite came out on April 18 and added Ix Chel (as reported by IGN) –
Each character belongs to one of five classes: Assassin, Guardian, Hunter, Mage, or Warrior. Unless it says otherwise, two people on the same team can’t choose the same character.
Each person must use a different character in competitive modes and modes that use a Draft pick method. During god selection, the best team setups are usually based on normal RPG raid setups (tank, healer, physical/magical damage).
