Samsung Releases New One Ui 4.1.1 And One Ui Watch 4.5 To Older Devices

Last week, Samsung introduced many new goods to the market. Many novelties were introduced with the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, and the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Some of those capabilities were bound to be retrofitted into earlier models eventually.

This is exactly what we've heard Samsung proclaim today. The new foldable's One UI 4.1.1 and the Watch 5 series' One UI 4.5 are being ported to older models.

New Software Updates Will Be Released Today.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Fold will all receive updates to One UI 4.1.1. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic will have the same user interface, version 4.5 when it arrives.

In addition, Samsung will roll out an upgrade for the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 that brings some of the new features included in One UI Watch 4.5.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 included a new feature called Taskbar, which is part of One UI 4.1.1 and allows users to multitask in a manner similar to that of a personal computer. It facilitates instantaneous app-hopping.

Aside from the new gestures for multitasking, the ability to open multiple windows from any location is another great new feature in One UI 4.1.1. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also saw the addition of Dual Preview. Both the main screen and the cover screen show the image preview.

To preview and capture images in their native aspect ratio, the older Galaxy Z Flip models now have the improved Quick Shot feature on the cover screen. Included as well are all of the recent enhancements that make the most of Flip's cover display.

One UI 4.5 for older Galaxy Watch models adds new watch faces and personalization possibilities. Typing will be less of a chore thanks to the redesigned QWERTY keyboard. Both the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Watch 2 will get an update that adds snoring detection and two new watch faces.

The Samsung Health Monitor app, which includes a blood pressure monitor and an electrocardiogram (ECG), will also be available for these smartphones.

The gadgets will receive these capabilities via software updates. Starting today, the first update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will begin rolling out globally.

Concerning the One UI Watch 4.5 software upgrade, Samsung claims that it will be available for usage on earlier Galaxy smartwatches in addition to the Watch 4 series.
