Resident Evil 4 Remake Getting Review Bombed

Even though many reviewers and players are still praising Capcom’s remake of the classic survival horror game Resident Evil 4, some gamers who are unhappy with the game are now giving it bad reviews.

Fans of the series have been asking for a remake of Resident Evil 4 for years, but some players seem angry about a number of things they think are wrong with the long-awaited release.

Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 is the latest game in the long-running series to be updated for modern hardware. It is a remake of the popular 2005 GameCube game of the same name. After the success of the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, many gamers thought that the next remake would be the fan-favorite game.

However, the Resident Evil 4 remake wasn’t announced until June 2022. The remake of the classic survival horror game by Capcom has been praised almost universally by critics, and creative gamers have already made a number of often funny mods for the PC version of Resident Evil 4.

At the time this article was written, the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X versions of the Resident Evil 4 remake all had a Metascore of over 90. However, the user score for each version of the game told a very different story.

Do you know that the controls for The Sims 4 have been fixed? Console players complained about the recent, controversial changes, and the game’s developers listened. Some of the biggest changes were made to the Build/Buy mode, but many players are unhappy with it:

On Metacritic, users have given all three versions of the game a low score, with the PS5 slightly ahead of the other two versions. Even though Resident Evil 4’s performance problems on the PS4 have been criticized, players who aren’t happy with the game have a wide range of complaints, from changes to the game to bad controls.

Some of the most common complaints from users were about changes that had been made since the first release. Capcom changed some parts of the game for the remake. In some places, they added new content, while in others, they took it away.

Many reviewers liked this change because it made the nearly 20-year-old game easier to play, but it’s easy to see why some fans of the original game would be sad to see a favorite part of the story or gameplay mode cut from Resident Evil 4.

On the other hand, some gamers who didn’t like the Resident Evil 4 remake thought that, despite the beautiful new graphics, the game was too similar to the original.

It’s not surprising that gamers have different feelings about Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 4 since the game has a special place in the hearts of many fans. Some players were happy to see changes that brought the game up to date, but it’s clear that others thought it was fine the way it was.

And with the next Resident Evil remake possibly waiting in the wings, it might not be long before another Capcom classic has to deal with one of the most dedicated and demanding fanbases in gaming. Resident Evil 4 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox X/S.
