Remnant 2 – New Gameplay Explaining the Gunslinger Class

The quick and lethal Gunslinger is the newest class in the upcoming Remnant 2 game. Players of Remant 2 can take on adversaries from a distance while using this new class, which also grants access to several weaponry, nearly endless ammo, and excellent damage output.

Remnant: From the Ashes, first released in 2019, was followed by Remnant 2. Over the years, the shooter called Soulslike was able to sell over 3 million copies thanks to favorable reviews. Remnant 2 was unveiled at The Game Awards the previous year. The game will strongly emphasize cooperative play and let players battle numerous bosses that Dark Souls inspire in various dynamically created settings.

The new Gunslinger class focuses on rapid-fire shooting while players observe the damage. The Gunslinger will concentrate on attacking adversaries at mid-range with exceptional speed and will shoot far faster than any other class in Remnant 2.

The class was comparable to the Ex-Cultist from the previous game, although now it is a totally DPS class rather than having a support role. Those who anticipated Remnant 2’s fighting to be better would therefore be happy with the class.

The game’s lead designer, Ben Cureton, told IGN in an interview that the developers wanted to make a class that was “all about guns.” The class’s gimmick is to switch between weapons frequently and never run out of ammunition.

Players could employ the class Prime Perk: Loaded, which allows them to reload all weapons simultaneously, giving them extra time to deal more damage to adversaries if they were hoping for some brand-new features in Remnant 2. Another notable feature is a skill called Quick Draw, which enables the Gunslinger to automatically fire on targets by bringing out their six-shooter.

Remnant 2 now has a robust Resident Evil 4 meets Souls-like atmosphere, and no one can fault the game’s visual appeal. Remnant 2 will need to feature unique gameplay for each class if the creators hope to differentiate themselves from the competition and make it something other than merely Dark Souls with guns.

Luckily, they are hitting the mark with this class’ design. Remnant 2 appears to be set to offer outstanding gameplay and a vast number of player options, despite competition from rival shooters like Destiny 2 and more recent Soulslikes like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

For the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2023, Remnant 2 is scheduled for release.
