Redmi 12C Appearing in IMEI and FCC Databases: A new Redmi phone with model number 2212ARNC4L has been authorised by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) (FCC). A device with the IMEI number and model name “Redmi 12C” has been found in the database (via. Xiaomi).
So it seems likely that the product will be introduced to the international market very soon. Redmi introduced the Redmi 10C, powered by a Snapdragon 680, in a variety of territories earlier this year.
Since the Redmi 12C has been spotted in the IMEI database, it appears that the Redmi 11C will be overlooked in favour of the newer model. Major details about the Redmi 12C’s hardware and software are yet unknown.
Nonetheless, it reveals that both dual-band Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity would be supported by the device. The MIUI 13 operating system will come installed.
The rumour mill has it that the Redmi 12C, like the Redmi 10C and Redmi 9C, would be a budget-friendly smartphone. The device’s model number does indicate a December release date.
Company rumours suggest that in addition to the Redmi 12C, the Redmi 11A is also under development. In November, TENAA received reports of a Redmi phone bearing the model number 22120RNC86C.
This smartphone is believed to be the Redmi 11A cellphone. The BIS authority in India has approved the Indian version, and the IMDA database has hosted the worldwide edition.
