Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023 Polls: Over 68% voter turnout, 2 deaths, few incidents of violence

Yesterday was the day of Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023. This election day turned as a very shocking day. This election day turned into a violent day. This is not the first time that election day become a violent day. It has been announced that two people died yesterday because of the elections. A lot of incident of violence has marked the battle between BJP and Congress. It has also been announced that more than 68% voter turnout. This election witnessed a 68.24% voter turnout with the official pooling booths which were opened from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. This article focuses on the Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023. Rajasthan voted to elect representatives to their 200-member Legislative Assembly on 25th Nove, ber 2023, Saturday. Rajasthan registered over 68% voter turnout by 5:00 pm yesterday. The Rajasthan Assembly Elections passed off peacefully but on the other hand, it also faced some violence. According to the reports given by the officials. the polling were over 51,000 polling booths in a total of 199 assembly constituencies in the state. The voting started at 7:00 am and the voting happened till 6:00 pm. It has been said that those already in the queue at the polling booths were allowed to vote. In the Rajasthan Assembly election of 2018, Rajasthan recorded a voter turnout of 74.06%, EC set the target of 75% turnout in every single constituency. Approximately 10% of the electorate cast their votes in the first two hours of the voting yesterday. The figure went up to approximately 25% at around 11:00 am and more than 40% at around 1:00 pm. And till 5:00 pm the voting percentage was t68.24%.

Sources have revealed that the polling in the Karanpur assembly constituency in Sriganganar has officially posted because of the demise of the Congress candidate. The vote counting of the Rajasthan Assembly election is going to happen on 3rd December 2023. The reports of yesterday showed that suddenly total of two people in which he was elderly voter and a polling agent of a candidate died because they suffered cardiac arrest at the polling booths in the Udaipur and Pali districts.
