For any Pokemon enthusiasts lately, it’s been quite a whirlwind! The Pokemon Company announced significant changes to the TV show and released two new games. There appears to be more content on the way right now.
Fans have noticed that the Pokemon Company may soon release a new Mystery Dungeon game. If so, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX from 2020 would be the last new entry in the series.
The video game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team from 2005 was remade in this one. This would make the suspected game the series’ first new installment since 2015!
This rumor was spread through a brand-new Pokémon Day website. A new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game’s teasers were discovered after eager fans data mined the “Pokemon Together” website.
The day of Pokemon Day is February 27. The code from the webpage refers to Spike Chunsoft. If you didn’t know, this group was behind the creation of earlier Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series games.
It’s crucial to remember that this is only a rumor and to accept it with a grain of salt. After all, before Pokemon Day, neither Nintendo nor the Pokémon Company is likely to announce anything.
The likelihood of a new title does, however, continue to exist. Before, Nintendo polled players’ opinions on a potential new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game. Naturally, the response was a loud yes!
Is a New Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Game in the Works?
Previously, in 2020, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX was released by Spike Chunsoft and the Pokemon Corporation. The game went well enough to become the best-selling game in Japan that week.
In the first week of sales, it also topped the charts in France and the United States. Furthermore, it climbed to the 41st best-selling Nintendo Switch games ever. With almost 1.89 million copies sold since its initial release in 2021.
The game, however, wasn’t met with the same enthusiasm. The current Metacritic score is “mixed or mediocre,” which isn’t great. Improvements over the original games, especially in terms of visuals, were appreciated by critics.
However, the “repetitive” dungeons and other gameplay difficulties were also criticized. I wonder whether a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game may help get the series back on track.
Before this, the most current Pokémon game was Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon on the Nintendo 3DS. The game did well in sales, much like the Switch version, although it was met with mixed reviews.
They praised the game’s fresh gameplay, exciting story, and wide selection of Pokemon. Players complained that the game’s fighting was boring and that there weren’t enough unique elements to keep them engaged.
A new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game that shakes the formula would be fantastic. Information regarding a future title is limited to what is contained in the code. Many Pokemon fans also wonder if there will be any further unexpected releases in honor of Pokémon Day.
There is speculation that Nintendo will re-release many classic games from the series for the Nintendo Switch Online. Among these are Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, and so on. There is, of course, still some mystery here.

Nintendo isn’t just said to be working on a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game. In addition to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, fans’ Fans previously soughtew Super Mario Odyssey game. We will likely learn about the former title if we receive the latter.
This would make sense naturally, given that the New Super Mario Bros. Movie will also be released this year. It would be ideal if it were played alongside a new Super Mario Odyssey game.
