PM Modi conveyed a public rally in Jhunjhunu ahead of the polls, where he targeted the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress Party for increasing the prices of fuel in the state. He compared the fuel prices in Rajasthan with the fuel prices in states governed by BJP. While targeting the skyrocketing fuel prices in Rajasthan, PM Modi said if the Bhartiya Janta Party comes to power in the state the prices of petrol and diesel will be eased. Prime Minister Narendra Modi added,  “The Congress government is not leaving any opportunity to loot you. Petrol is cheaper by Rs 12-13 in Haryana, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. By following this policy, Congress has caused a huge loss to the country.” After accusing Ashok Gehlot and the state Congress party, the PM went on to count on the welfare initiatives of the central government.
