The fourth season of Blizzard’s Hero sh00ter Overwatch 2 will feature a new Hero and new map additions, among other major changes. As demonstrated by Season 3, the traditional concept of adding a new Hero with every season is no longer valid. Blizzard will focus on a certain aspect with each new Overwatch 2 season.
The focus of Season 3 was the Antarctic Peninsula, and Blizzard has already given gamers a sense of what they may anticipate seeing in Overwatch 2 Season 4.
When Does the Overwatch 2 Season 4 Start?
Overwatch 2 Season 4 is set to launch on April 11, 2023, according to Blizzard. In addition, the new support character Lifeweaver will now be able to be unlocked and used in all of the game types in Overwatch 2 in place of Season 3’s Battle Pass.
The devs have revealed that the update will be released at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET in a new blog post dedicated to Season 4. Taking into account Daylight Saving Time, this is often the time that the majority of Overwatch 2 updates and the beginning of new seasons are issued.

Overwatch 2 Season 4 will introduce a new character thanks to the current focus on alternating a new map and a new Hero.
Who will join Ramattra from Season 1 as a new seasonal face to the lineup is unknown? Aaron Keller, the game director for Overwatch 2, did, however, reveal to NME in January 2023 that the upcoming two Heroes will be Support adds. Keller acknowledged that there are much fewer Support characters compared to other roles. Said:
“We’re really focusing on Supports right now – the next two Heroes we’re going to be released are Support Heroes.”
