Oneplus 11 5G Will Compete in the 2023 Flagship Race

Oneplus 11 5G Will Compete in the 2023 Flagship Race: Now that 2022 is coming to a close and our Editors’ Choice products have been finalized, we can look ahead to what’s to come in 2023.

OnePlus is making a bold move, as we had always assumed Samsung would be the first to announce their next-generation flagship phones. The OnePlus 11 5G has been officially announced, but we still have to wait a few months to find its inner workings and technical specifications.

The company has announced that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the successor to its surprisingly great (if insanely bass-heavy) 2021 set, will be released simultaneously with the next smartphone.

The teaser for the event doesn’t reveal much new information, but the darkened image of the phone appears to confirm the previously seen renders. Cloud 11 is the event’s name, and OnePlus says it’s not just a coincidence that it comes after the number 9 because the company plans to “take fans from cloud 9 to cloud…” Ok, now you understand.

As much as fans would love to see the OnePlus 11 5G now, they still have nearly two months to wait. The Alert Slider is back after being omitted from the OnePlus 10T earlier this summer.

It’s great to see the company’s handy ringer toggle making a quick comeback, as the company had previously promised it wouldn’t. The collaboration with Hasselblad has also continued here, and a bespoke color-tuning profile has been developed.

We won’t find out much about the next OnePlus flagship until the event, which isn’t for another nearly two months.

But given how much the company enjoys teasing out its announcements and how close CES is, we shouldn’t be surprised if we get more details from official sources very soon. If not, there will be a never-ending drumbeat of rumors and leaks until the big day.
