If you’re looking for more, Xbox Game Pass has been adding new content every day this week (starting on February 13), the most recent of which is the day-one release of Cities: Skylines Remastered.
Although the remastered version debuted on February 15, the game’s original version is already available on the service, making the remaster a day-one release for Xbox Game Pass. This game replaces that earlier version for Xbox Series X/S and Cloud users, but fans should know that it also includes many brand-new features.
On February 13, Wild Hearts received a ten-hour free trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate customers. On February 14, Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, a strategy-action role-playing game, was added to the service.
And today, of course, is the release of Cities: Skylines Remastered. Additionally, Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition and Atomic Heart will be available on the service on February 16 and 21, respectively. Additional releases may be announced soon.
In either case, Xbox One users will probably have to stick with the original version of Cities: Skylines Remastered since it is only available on the Xbox Series X/S consoles and Cloud.
Sixteen additional buildable tiles, a quick selection tool, enhanced precision placements and distance indicators, updated snapping options, new environmental features like coloring and a control panel, the ability to change the time of day, a new tool that allows players to influence weather and atmospheric changes like rain and fog, a new map editor, and more are all included in this remastered version.
With all the extra material in Cities: Skylines Remastered and the indicated graphics update, it is evident that the term “remastered” may be a little bit of an understatement.

Even though the Xbox Game Pass February 2023 games appear to be few right now, one of the best things about the service is that there is nearly always a little something for everyone. It is unclear what it will add in March, although a few games have already been confirmed.
On March 28, MLB The Show 23 will be added to Xbox Game Pass, while Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be available on March 3 for fans of history and action RPGs. The steady influx of games proves that Xbox Game Pass is the best value in gaming.
However, it has recently come to light that day one Xbox Game Pass release hurts game sales, especially for new releases. Although it’s still unknown whether the trade-off is worthwhile, many users wouldn’t quibble with the service’s game selection. Users of Xbox Game Pass receive a few games each month.
