You can select between real-time role-playing battles or auto-battling as you make your way through the plot, and both new and classic stages are included. The game will have card mechanics and feature 2D battles where players can use their fighters’ signature combinations and skills with a few touches on the screen.

Players may take their teams online to face friends or other players from around the world in PvP battles, and they can level up and enhance their fighters through gameplay or in-app purchases. At launch and beyond, Street Fighter: Duel will receive exclusive skins for players to use in the game.

Terry Li, General Manager of Crunchyroll Games and Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, Crunchyroll, commented, “Street Fighter has been an iconic game for generations, and we know anime fans love to go on exciting adventures with beloved characters.” Fans of both anime and video games will be pleased to hear that “We’re excited to collaborate with Capcom to bring Street Fighter: Duel and its incredible roster of iconic fighters to anime and gaming fans alike.”

Street Fighter: Duel is now available for pre-registration in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and select European nations, including the United Kingdom, though an exact release date has not been disclosed beyond February 2023. The amount of free virtual cash given to all gamers will be based on the number of players that pre-register.
