2K has not yet disclosed who will be on the cover of the standard edition, but given the series’ long-standing custom, it is safe to assume that it will be a current NBA player.
Bryant’s appearance on the cover of NBA 2K24 most likely came about as a result of the number 24 jersey that he wore for the majority of his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Do you know that Twitter is threatening legal action against Meta’s new social media service, Threads? A Twitter attorney describes Threads as a “copycat” app that was allegedly developed by hiring former employees of the Elon Musk-owned microblogging platform and using the company’s trade secrets, according to a letter posted by Semafor:
Bryant played for the Lakers for the entirety of his professional basketball career. The previous year, NBA 2K placed Michael Jordan on the cover of 2K23 to correspond with his number 23 jersey.
Even though the tweet mentions that preorders will begin tomorrow, no other information on NBA 2K24 has been disclosed as of yet. However, it is probable that additional details will be provided alongside the opening of preorders.
