Motorola Edge 30 Fusion in Viva Magenta: Motorola released the Edge 30 Fusion in several countries and regions in September. As Pantone's Color of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta is now available on the market for smartphones in the United States.
Pantone has been selecting the Color of the Year for almost 20 years, taking into account “all parts of culture from fashion to marketing, social media, and even politics,” according to Motorola's official press release on the topic.
In case you were wondering, Motorola is allowed to use these Pantone hues because of its “globally-exclusive collaboration with Pantone in the smartphone market.”
Despite having the same features as its international counterpart, the American Edge 30 Fusion is distinguished mostly by its colour and the inclusion of Moto Buds 600 ANC TWS earbuds in Winetasting, “a hue created to suit the Pantone Color of the Year 2023.”
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion in Viva Magenta is available for $799.99. The Moto Z2 Play is also available in Neptune Blue for $699.99 without the Moto Buds 600 ANC TWS earbuds, if you prefer to purchase them separately. An unlocked version of the Edge 30 Fusion will be available exclusively through AT&T and T-Mobile.

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion features a 6.55-inch curved pOLED display with a centred punch-hole and a 10-bit colour depth, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a refresh rate of 144 hertz, and a touch sampling rate of 360 hertz.
The screen's max brightness is 110 nits, it has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a fingerprint sensor is built into its underside. Additionally, HDR10+ and the full DCI-P3 colour space are supported by the display.

The smartphone utilises a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor alongside LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It starts up Android 12, complete with Ready For compatibility.

The front and rear are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and it boasts twin stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and an IP52 classification. The phone has a 4,400mAh battery and supports fast charging at up to 68W. (wired).
