Modern Warfare: A counter-UAV was destroyed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, thanks to a drill charge used by one of the players. Modern Warfare 2 brought new features to the Call of Duty series, such as a redesigned user interface and a revamped perk system.
In a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 match, players have access to a vast arsenal, consistent with the rest of the series. To eliminate foes hiding behind walls or other cover, fans now have access to a new lethal piece of gear known as the drill charge.

One Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player has used a drill charge to end a kill streak. One Reddit user, going by the name of Professional-Gas628, is playing a round of Modern Warfare 2 on the Shipment server when they spot a counter-UAV directly above them as soon as they spawn.
After a few seconds, the counter-UAV explodes from a drill charge that Professional-Gas628 hurled at it. The regular UAV that Professional-Gas628 had earned earlier in the game was finally put to good use.
Some gamers rave about the extended range of drill charges, while another points out that those charges are useless against anyone protected by a riot shield. Some players have noticed that even with a riot shield, players can still be killed by drill charges in Modern Warfare 2.

Some players also have trouble keeping their balance while using the drill charge. A Modern Warfare 2 fan wants to know how effective a drill charge is against a VTOL. Other players have noted their damage to a VTOL, but they have been unable to end the kill streak.
One player confirms this by saying they hit the same VTOL with four drill charges during a Shipment match, but it was still intact after the round ended. Another poster argues that thermite can quickly destroy VTOL Jets with relative ease.

As part of the Season 1 Reloaded update, the Shipment map was added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While Warzone 2 was released at the start of the season, the addition of Shoot House meant that players only had access to two multiplayer maps for Call of Duty.
Both maps are reimaginings of previously existing ones, and a new leak suggests that another repurposed map, Castle, will be added to Modern Warfare 2 in Season 2. Available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
