WHAT ON THE STEAK
The last time Minnesota finished the season at AP Top 25 in 2003 was when she defeated Oregon in the Sun Bowl and finished 20th in the final poll. The Golden Gophers 8-8-1 all the time against the teams of the Southeast Conference and are looking for their first victory over an SEC rival after defeating Alabama on 20-16 in 2004 at the Music City Bowl. Auburn has played one of the most difficult schedules in the country and is trying to get his fourth victory over the team this season.
Minnesota’s powerful attack, led by second quarterback Tanner Morgan, against SEC quarterback Derrick Brown and stingy Tigers defense. Morgan set school records for the season (2,975) and touchdowns (28). Auburn has 90 gear for loss, including 12 1/2 Brown.
