Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Update 1.14 Slings Out This October 15

As this is an unannounced title update, you shouldn’t hold Insomniac Games to high standards with the new Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales patch 1.14 (PS5 version 1.014). The October 15 patch notes for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales may be found below.

Update 2: According to an Insomniac Games representative, the patch also included an improved credit sequence.

Update:  The PlayStation 4 patch notes have been included:

General updates:

  • Text updates

Insomniac Games has not yet released any patch notes detailing what is contained in this update. However, given that version 1.09 was the last patch for the PS4 version of the game, this patch likely brings a lot of fixes that have been implemented for the PS5 version.

These changes and fixes were implemented on the PS5 but have not yet made it to the PS4 version. Remember that we left out any discussion of ray tracing, virtual reality, or other PS5-exclusive features. Here is a summary of the most recent patches for the PS5 version of the game (from Insomniac):

Update 1.010

  • Global stability fixes and performance improvements
  • Fix for an issue with motion blur on particular pedestrians

Update 1.011

Update 1.013.001

  • All notes related to VRR are PS5-specific and unlikely for the PS4.

We’ve contacted Insomniac about the patch that went live today, and if we get a response, we’ll include it here. Remember that Miles  Morales, aka Spider-Man, will be released for PC this coming November.
