The Wall Street Journal informed Social media giant Meta may activate charging users its Europen users around $14 each month for an ad-free subscription to Facebook and Instagram. The report also informs that Meta administrators have shared the plan with privacy regulators in Ireland, and competition controllers in Brussels among EU privacy regulators.
