Meizu M3 Pro Hi-fi Player Launches With New Flagship Android Phone in 2023

Meizu M3 Pro Hi-fi Player: Meizu has announced the release date of its new high-end Android smartphone, the 20. However, it appears that the flagship will not be arriving on its own; instead, it will be accompanied by a new audio player. The maker of the soon-to-be-released M3 claims to have invented a brand-new DAC specifically for this model.

Before its possible life-saving acquisition by Geely, Meizu had all but disappeared from the personal devices sphere. Still, it was formerly known for dedicated audio players and premium Android smartphones. Now, the company has declared that it will reveal its return to both markets in the first quarter of 2023.

There is speculation that the newly confirmed 20 series will feature a distinctive, high-end design and at least one large camera lens on the back. Similar to other recent smartphones like the Xiaomi 13 series or the Motorola Moto X40, it is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

This suggests that the Meizu 20 series is primed to take on the best Android phones. Despite its USB type-C port, 3.5mm jack, and dedicated front-facing media controls; it may still be missing some hardware necessary to appeal to the dedicated audiophile.

These capabilities, however, will be available on the forthcoming M3 Pro “Hi-Fi Player.” Its high-quality metal casing conceals what is believed to be a custom H1 DAC chip, which communicates with the rest of the device via a PCB designed in-house for “full-link True 1-Bit audio” decoding.

In addition, Meizu claims that the M3 Pro will include custom oversampling technology and algorithms that will allow it to achieve a maximum sampling rate of 11.2MHz. It will have 128GB of storage space and a “Hold” button cut like a diamond.

Although a placeholder page for the M3 Pro has been set up on Meizu’s online store, the actual launch of the device may not occur until the 20 series has also arrived in the new year.
