Maureen Sherman Missing: Body Remains Found Inside Her Car, What Happened To Her?
Maureen Sherman was a resident of Miami, Florida. She disappeared on May 1, 1985, when she was last seen in her 1983 Chrysler Reliant K car Station wagon with license plate XEB875. By the time her body remains were found, Maureen Sherman had become 47 years old. The missing mother out of Miami, Florida vanished on May 1, 1985, 39 years ago. The woman remained missing despite extensive search operations and investigations. The authorities kept on locating the whereabouts of the missing woman following her traces.
Eventually, the search came to an end on January 5, 2024, when AWP in Collaboration with Sunshine State Sonar found a Red Plymouth Reliant Station Wagon in 31 feet of water, with license plate number XEB875 at 4:41 pm. The search started at 9 am and Maureen’s vehicle was the 24th vehicle found on sonar with Dave and Mike diving to confirm the plate number. The Adventures With Purpose and Sunshine Sonar Teams in collaboration for the week brought home Maureen Sherman today after 6 hours of sonar and diving on 24 vehicles in the canal behind Maureen’s 1985 home in Miami Florida at 4:41 pm. Nevertheless, the Miami Dade Dive team did an amazing job floating the vehicle 100 yards and extracting it from the canal between 8-10 pm.
