Switch Version of Mario Kart 8 Will Have New Yoshi’s Island Course

In a Nintendo Direct broadcast on March 13th, the company stated that the spring would see the release of the fourth set of downloadable courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. Yoshi’s Island is the newest track coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of Booster Course Pass Wave 4.

More crucially, Birdo’s appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been increased by a factor of 100%. After making her debut in Mario Kart: Double Dash for the Nintendo GameCube and returning as an unlockable character in Mario Kart Wii, Birdo is making her triumphant return to the Mario Kart series. She’s the first of the new playable characters introduced in the Booster Course Pass expansion pack. The fourth installment of the Booster Course Pass will include seven more classes without prior notice.

Released in December, these new courses add fan favorites like Mario Kart Wii’s Maple Treeway and Mario Kart 7’s Rainbow Road to the Switch version of the game.

The following are some games we recommend for the Nintendo Switch, along with some information about them:

The Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can be purchased via the Nintendo eShop for $24.99. The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, which costs $49.99 per year for an individual and $79.99 per year for a family, also includes the pass.
