As the much-anticipated voting day in Madhya Pradesh approached, the wait for the results day started. When will the result of the Madhya Pradesh election come out? As per the reports, the result of voting will be declared next month on December 3. Speaking of voting day, every voter needs to keep the timing of voting. Reportedly, the voters can cast their vote from 7 am and the voting will conclude at 6 pm in the evening. Exceptionally, the voting at four polling centers in Dindori and three polling centers in Balaghat would be cast from 7 am to 3 pm as these regions are Naxal-affected. In Balaghat district, the assembly constituencies are Lanji, Paraswada, and Baihar. On Thursday, November 17, the Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh, Anupam Rajan said, “Along with this, voting at 55 polling stations in Mandla district and 40 polling stations in Dindori district will also be held from 7 am to 3 pm,” In the state, three districts are Naxal-affected which include Mandla, Balaghat, and Dindori. Across 52 districts of the state, there are a total of 230 assembly seats including 47 reserved for Scheduled Tribes and 35 for Scheduled Castes.

A total of 2,533 candidates have filed the nominations across 230 assembly seats in the state where the real fight for the state’s government is between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress. To note, BJP and Congress are contesting the assembly election in all 230 constituencies of Madhya Pradesh. Whereas the Samajwadi Party has given tickets to 71 candidates there. The Mayawati-led BSP has fielded 183 candidates. Among all the 2,533 candidates across 230 constituencies, 252 are women, 2,280 are men, and one is a third-gender person. As many as 5,60,60,925 voters including 2,72,33,945 females, 2,88,25,607 males, and 1,373 third-gender persons are eligible to exercise their franchise on Friday.
