Marvelous and SIEG Games created and published the role-playing video game Loop8: Summer of Gods. It is put out by XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe in the West. Loop8: Summer of Gods is an adventure about coming of age. The main character, Nini, and his friends try to beat the Kegai, which are demonic beings that have brought humanity to the edge of extinction.
Nini grew up on a failed space station called “Hope.” He comes back to Earth to spend the summer in Ashihara, one of the last safe places for people. Nini’s “Demon Sight” gives him a special link to the gods that lets him reset the world. Each time, he and his allies can relive the 8th month until they get it right… or until the Kegai beat them all.

The team behind Loop8: Summer of Gods includes senior producer Yoichi Miyaji (Lunar series, Grandia series), game designer Yuri Shibamura (Gunparade March, Touken Ranbu), character designers Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online) and En Morikura, concept artist Kitsuneiro, mascot character designer Ryudai Murayama, and composer Noriyuki Iwadare. Marvelous plans to share different videos for Loop8: Summer of Gods in the months before it comes out. This “juvenile RPG,” which is coming out around the world in June, has a lot of different ways to play.
The most recent gameplay video is (again!) about Daily Life. During those parts, every move takes a certain amount of energy and stamina. If you run out of either, you won’t be able to do anything else that day, so it’s important to take some time to rest, like at home or in a restaurant.
