Nitin Gadkari Will Not Campaign To Gain Votes
After adding that he won’t put up posters and campaign to gain votes ahead of the elections in 2024, he went on to say ‘Those who have to vote will vote and those who do not will not’. He made this big statement during the inauguration of National Highway projects in Washim. The Nagpur MP and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said he would not lure or bribe the voters to gain votes.
“For this Lok Sabha election, I have decided that no banners or posters will be put up nor tea will be offered to people. Those who have to vote will vote and those who do not will not…Neither will I take bribe nor will I allow anyone,”
BJP President Campaigning For Assembly Elections In Five States
As the general elections are coming near, all the parties are gearing up to start their election campaigns and make strategies to win seats. But before the general elections, five states will undergo assembly elections before the end of this year. The five states where assembly elections will take place are Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Mizoram, and Telangana. Kindly note that it is expected that Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh will undergo polls along with the Lok Sabha elections.
Recently, BJP president JP Nadda attended a crucial meeting with senior leaders and party general secretaries to start preparations for the upcoming polls in Rajasthan, MP, and Chattisgarh. In the meeting, JP Nadda covered several topics including panchayat elections, the party’s call centres, urban local bodies, sewa saptah pakhawada, and other political matters. The meeting was held after JP Nadda gathered insights from different general secretaries on strategies for the assembly elections in their respective states.
