KTM Unveiled Duke 990cc At EICMA 2023
KTM Duke 990cc is a successor of the Duke 890cc, therefore, it is pertinent that the visuals of the new member of the Duke family are very similar to its predecessor. The fuel tank section resembles the bigger Super Duke 1290 but gets slightly different with two pieces of extensions extended up to the front forks. KTM has designed the Duke 990cc quite radically, more so than the Duke 890cc. The point that should be discussed is its headlamp which has protruding and slim panels flanking an LED projector lamp pushed inward. The aluminium sub-frame is left exposed which lends it an industrial look like the new Duke 390cc.
The company powering Duke 990 is the revised iteration of the KTM’s LC8c, 947cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes more torque and power than before, standing at close to 103Nm and 123bhp. The suspension setup of the Duke 990 is completely adjustable at both ends with a mono-shock and WP Apex USD forks. Bike lovers always remain enthralled by the color options of KTM bikes. The newly unveiled KTM Duke 990cc reportedly will be available only in two colors, Black Metallic, and Electronic Orange.
