Joa Sherman’s accident occurred at the intersection of La Branch Street and Jefferson Street in the Medical District. As per the information provided by law enforcement agencies, a Tesla car collided with the back of an Uber which was stopped at a red light and killed the driver. The Houston Police Department is currently investigating this incident. As per the police, two individuals were inside the black color tesla which was accelerating fastly before it hit a grey color Toyota SUV which was acting as the Uber and was carrying a total of three passengers.
Reports say, the Tesla car lost its control and veered up the road. It collided with a brick barrier belonging to a parking garage. The Houston Police Department and the Houston Fire Department immediately rushed to the accident spot. At the spot, the driver of the Tesla was pronounced dead.
