January Playstation Plus Games: We’re excited to announce January’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games today. Solo adventure Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, co-op online role-playing game Fallout 76, and fun platforming in Axiom Verge 2 are all on the docket this week.
On Tuesday, January 3, all three games will be free to all PlayStation Plus members. PlayStation Plus’s January Extra and Premium content schedules are forthcoming. Take a closer look at the Monthly Games we have available.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
The adventures of Cal Kestis begin now. Find out where it all began for Cal Kestis in this all-new Star Wars tale from Respawn Entertainment, just in time for the March release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
You are the last remaining Padawan of the Jedi order, and their only hope for survival, after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Senator Palpatine’s deadly Order 66, which was designed to destroy the Jedi order and pave the way for the rise of the Empire.
Reconstruct the Jedi Order by picking up the pieces of your broken past, completing your Jedi training, becoming a powerful user of the Force, and becoming an expert with the Lightsaber.
Use your Jedi training to approach every fight strategically and travel to new parts of the Star Wars galaxy full of new characters, creatures, enemies, and droids, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.

Fallout 76
You and the other Vault Dwellers, who were picked from the best and brightest citizens, emerge into a post-nuclear America on Reclamation Day, 2102, twenty-five years after the bombs fell.
You can go it alone or team up with other players to discover the wasteland’s secrets, complete quests, construct strongholds, and ultimately defeat its most dangerous inhabitants.
In this multiplayer expansion to the Fallout series, you can roam a vast wasteland ravaged by nuclear war. Try out the most extensive and dynamic Fallout world ever made.
Axiom Verge 2
The sequel to the exploration platformer introduces new characters, abilities, and gameplay as you travel between two interconnected worlds, wield ancient technology, and question reality. Discover the ruins of a long-lost advanced civilization on a planet similar to ours.
To enter the Breach, a connected but separate validity full of its dangers, you must hack machines, fight monsters, and use your remote drone to explore. It would help if you looked in every nook and cranny for valuable upgrades and items you’ll need to stay alive.

Why can’t I redeem PS Plus Essential January 2023 games?
If you don’t see the games listed here despite reading this article, don’t worry; Sony staggers the release of its PS Plus games lineup, and you should have access to them within the day.
Asian and European users can get their hands on the games right now. It’s possible that people in North and South America won’t be able to cash them in just yet.
If a game is available in the PS Plus Essentials tier but is also available in the PS Plus Extra or Premium tiers, you should only redeem it once.
If you do this, you will lose access to the games forever when the Extra and Premium catalogs have expired, even if you have the Essential game’s license.
While Sony has been made aware of this problem multiple times, they have not issued a formal fix or statement.
PlayStation LifeStyle is the first to announce the launch of the January 2023 lineup of PS Plus Essential Games.
