As per the report, railway officials,” This will be the first time that Indian Railways is going to be showing a high degree of obeisance to the Chhath deity, by running the special Vande Bharat train between Patna and New Delhi.” Indian Railways has declared 283 festival special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Special train services will collectively make 4,480 trips to adjust to the surge in passenger traffic during the festive season. IR said the East Central Railway will work 42 trains with a maximum of 512 journeys, and Western Railway will operate 36 trains with a maximum of 1,262 journeys during the festival season. As far as we know, The Ministry of Railways said in a press release,” Special Trains have planned to link primary destinations across the country on railway routes like Delhi- Patna, Muzaffarpur-Yesvantpur, Puri-Patna, Okha-Naharlagun, Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Danapur- Bengaluru, Danapur-Saharsa, Ambala-Saharsa, Puri-Patna, Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri, Kochuveli-Bengaluru, Benaras- Mumbai.
