Gujrat Gas is one of India’s biggest city gas distribution companies. The company has now awarded orders to supply the 40,000 gas meters. The entire value of the order is worth around Rs. 49.5 crore. Vikas Lifecare (VLL), owns a total of 95% stake in Genesis which is officially engaged in the business of developing smart products including smart gas meters and power distribution solutions for the infrastructure segment. According to the reports, the Gujrat Gas is spread across 43 districts in the half dozen states. It is continuing to hold a leadership position in the CGD industry in the way of its size and style of operation. Reports have shown that over 16.56 lakh households, more than 13,500 commercial customers, 653 CNG stations, over 32,00 km of the natural gas pipeline network, and close to 4,300 industrial units. Gujrat gas is officially claiming to flow approx total gas volume which is close to 11,40 Million Metric Standard Cubic Meters every single day. As per the source, it has recorded a net profit of Rs. 2.49 crore in the year-ago period, this was stated by the officials on 16th November 2023, Thursday in a statement. Currently, the total income of the company has declined to Rs. 110.60 crores over Rs. 129.57 crores in the year-ago quarter and it has been announced that the expense has been trimmed to Rs. 103.27 crores against Rs. 124.50 crores a year ago. VLL recycles the plastic waste to manufacture pallets and interlocking tile for the industrial applicants which also includes construction.
