Dr. Victor Chang was a Chinese Australian cardiac surgeon and a pioneer of modern heart transplantation in Australia. he was born on 21st November 1936 in Shangai, republic of China. His real name was Victor Peter Chang and he was also known as Chang Yam Him. He has attended St. Paul College. Before that, he attended the Belmore Boys High School in Belmore and he completed his secondary education at the Christian Brothers High School in Lewisham. After completing his graduation he attended the University of Sydney where he completed the degree of Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class honors and the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.
